UP Budget 2021-22 Education Sector: Students will get free tablets, model career centers will be established in 12 districts

UP Budget 2021-22 Education Sector: Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna presented the fifth budget of the Yogi government. In the budget, announcements were made to implement many schemes for education and employment. The Finance Minister said in announcements that a total of 40 hostels will be built in 19 districts of the state.

Skill development of the youth of the state is the priority of the government, so that employment opportunities can be fully utilized. Abhyudaya Yojana is being launched for free coaching with an aim to make youth successful in various competitive examinations. From this scheme, tablets will be made available to students on the basis of eligibility. So that they can prepare for competitive exams through digital learning.

It has been decided to develop and strengthen facilities in state-aided private schools and state Sanskrit schools. Free hostel and food will be provided to poor students in government Sanskrit schools as per Gurukul system. Model Career Centers have been set up at various entry points under the National Career Service Project. Model Career Centers will be set up in 12 districts of the state. In the last 4 years 7 lakh youth have been trained by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development and more than 3 lakh youth have been linked with employment. A provision of Rs 8.55 crore is proposed for the Youth Sports Development and Promotion Scheme. Approval of 25 crore plan for stadium and open gym in rural areas. Rs 20 crore approved for Sports University in Meerut district.

950 crore rupees will be provided for under-construction medical colleges in the state. 30 crores for other medical college. For the education of children of registered laborers, one Atal Residential School is being established in 18 mandals of the state. In which students of class 6 to 12 will be provided free quality and objective residential education.
