Congress leader Shashi Tharoor criticized Vij’s tweet saying, “Of course these types of tweets are more dangerous for our democracy than the ‘toolkit’ that Disha Ravi retweeted.” BJP leader Vij Tweeted, “Whoever is in the mind of the nation’s opposition, that seed should be uprooted from the root, whether it is Ravi or someone else.” Vij made the remark two days after the arrest of environmental activist Disha Ravi. Disha Ravi has been arrested for allegedly sharing a ‘toolkit’ related to farmers’ performance on social media. The Delhi Police has claimed that the 21-year-old activist is the editor of ‘Toolkit Google Doc’ and the ‘main conspirator’ who created and disseminated the documents. Disha Ravi was arrested by Cyber ​​Cell from Bangalore on Saturday. Environmental activist Greta Thunberg shared a ‘tool kit’ to support the farmers’ movement against the three agricultural laws. This ‘tool kit’ gave information about various steps which included protesting on Twitter, demonstrating outside Indian embassies.
