One person was injured in that incident,” Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar told reporters here. Police said the accused have been identified as Suhail Ahmed Mir, Owais Manzoor Sophie and Wilayat Aziz Mir. Kumar said that a special investigation team led by an officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police, obtained clues through CCTV footage obtained from the area. After this, two accused were arrested. He said that two-wheelers and weapons used on the crime have been recovered. During interrogation, the two revealed the involvement of another person in the crime who was arrested. The IGP said that the purpose of the attack was to create fear among tourists. The attackers shot Akash Mehra, son of the owner of Krishna Dhaba, located in a high-security area of ​​the city, on Wednesday evening. Mehra was seriously injured in this incident. He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital, where his condition is stated to be stable.
