Also, the government has appointed Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) as the implementing agency for its airport at Jewar.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh will leave no stone unturned to make it world class.

The airport has been designed on the lines of London, Moscow and Milan’s world famous airports. Its name will be ‘Noida International Greenfield Airport, Jewar’, while the logo of the state bird ‘Crane’ is in the logo.

High speed rail corridor will be at the airport

The High Speed ​​Rail Corridor International Airport between Delhi and Varanasi is planning to build a station inside the premises of Jewar. Except for Jewar, high speed tracks will be laid in front of Yamuna Expressway in Agra. Also, the station will be shortened to come inside the station premises. The acquisition of 1334 hectares of land required for the establishment of Noida International Airport has been taken by Gautam Buddha Municipal Administration. Also, 48.097 hectare land has been acquired for rehabilitation and displacement.

How many passengers will travel every year?

This airport will take a lot of time to be fully prepared, but the movement of flights for passengers will start soon. Its construction will be given in four stages. Firstly, the initial capacity of the airport will be 12 million passengers per year, which will be increased gradually. The government believes that by 2050 its capacity will be given to seven crore passengers per year.
