– More than nine blood banks of the city collected one thousand five hundred units of blood in a few hours, Srishyam Akhand Jyot recital today in the three-day festival
face. The Srishyam Temple, which has become the center of religious faith in the city and surrounding, was the first day of the fourth Patotsav of Suratdham in the name of social concern. On the first day of the three-day festival series on the occasion of Patotsav, a blood donation camp was organized in the temple premises on Sunday by the Shree Shyam Seva Trust in collaboration with various socio-religious institutions of the city and 1 thousand 501 units of blood was collected.
The three-day festival started in the morning with lamp lighting in front of Baba Shyam at Srishyam Temple, Suratdham. During this, MLAs Jhankhana Patel, Colonel Sudhir Sharma, Jayaprakash Soni, Sanjay Saraogi, Anil Gopalani etc. were present. Teams of New Civil Hospital Blood Bank Surat and Civil Hospital Blood Bank Ahmedabad, Smeer Hospital Blood Bank, Surat Blood Donation Center, Lok Surrender Blood Bank, Sevier Blood Bank, Mahaveer Hospital Blood Bank, Kiran Hospital Blood Bank, Sardar Blood Bank during Blood Donation Camp Blood was collected in collaboration with. Hundreds of members of various religious-social organizations of the city stood in queue and participated in the camp to donate blood. Many girls and women also donated blood in the camp. All the donors were awarded on behalf of the Trust. A calendar release was also organized on behalf of the Srishyam Seva Trust.
Organizer Trust set up several teams to make the blood donation camp a success and a vote of thanks was extended to them at the closing of the camp. On the second day of the three-day festival organized to commemorate the fourth Patotsav of Srishyam Temple, Suratdham, Sundarakand Patha and Srishyam Akhand Jyot Patha will be organized in the temple premises on Monday. Sunderkand recitation will be read from nine in the morning and Sree Shyam Akhand Jyot recitation from 1 in the afternoon.
