Another new scheme will be launched in the name of Mahila Samarthi Yojana. For this, a provision of Rs 200 crore has been made in the budget. In this scheme, the daughter is assisted in studies.

The UP government helps at every stage of education. The name of this scheme is Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana (Kanya Sumangala Yojana).

In this scheme of Yogi Government, both education and health of daughters are taken care of. Let us tell you that under the scheme, money is deposited in the beneficiaries account through direct bank transfer (DBT).

Kanya Sumangala Yojana-Under the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the state government itself bears the expenses of studying the daughters of economically weaker people.

At the time of birth of a daughter, 2 thousand rupees are given, after one year vaccination, 1 thousand rupees is given.

2 thousand rupees at the time of admission to the first class, Rs. 2 thousand for coming to the sixth grade and Rs. 3 thousand at the time of admission in the ninth grade.

5 thousand rupees are given after passing the exam of 10th and 12th class or after taking admission in a two-year diploma.

Now what is the government’s preparation

In the budget, Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala is preparing to change the plan. Under this, a provision of Rs 1,200 crore has been made to provide tablets to eligible girls.

To address the problem of malnutrition in women and children, the Chief Minister Saksham Suraksha Yojana will be conducted from the financial year 2021-22 and a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for it.

Apart from this, a budget provision of Rs 4,094 crore has been proposed for the nutrition program and Rs 415 crore for the National Nutrition Campaign.

A provision of Rs. 32 crores is proposed for the establishment of Mahila Shakti Kendras in the budget. Special campaign for women safety and women help desk will be set up.

Important things related to Kanya Sumangala Scheme

Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana has been started for the poor people. The benefit of this scheme will be given to those people whose annual income is Rs 3 lakh or less.

Maximum two girls from one family will get the benefit of the scheme. If a woman has twin daughters and after this, the third child also has a daughter, then the third daughter will also be considered eligible for this scheme.
