New Delhi, 13 February (Language) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised Home Minister Amit Shah’s address to the Lok Sabha during the passage of a bill related to Jammu and Kashmir. He said his “wonderful speech” was elaborate and highlighted the government’s efforts for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He said his “wonderful speech” was elaborate and highlighted the government’s efforts for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. In his tweet, Modi also praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s “comprehensive” reply to the discussion on the Union Budget in the Lok Sabha. He said that Sitharaman gave detailed information about how the budget will benefit every section of the society and at the same time the ‘Self-reliant India’ campaign will gain momentum. Responding to the discussion on the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, Shah said that since the removal of Article 370 in August 2019, the government has done a lot for Jammu and Kashmir. He assured that the Center will grant full union status to the Union Territory at the appropriate time. The Prime Minister said, “Excellent speech by Home Minister Shri Amit Shah in Lok Sabha. Rich in detail and content, it highlights our efforts for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. ”
