People’s routine is being affected even at an early age due to knee pain. This problem is also increasing due to standing in one place for a long time or due to long seating. Let us know some measures which can reduce the discomfort of knees.
5 kg weight loss reduces risk 50
It has been clear in many studies that even if you lose more than 5 kg, the problem of arthritis or pain in the knees decreases by up to 50 percent. This is possible only when exercise and diet are taken care of.
Muscle tension and lack of proper circulation of blood is the reason
The main reason is lack of blood circulation in the muscles of the knees, muscle strain or tension and injury. Also, increase of uric acid in blood, due to swelling due to excess pressure on the knees, also happens. Apart from this, sitting on your knees for too long, overworking the knees, joint infection or wrong kneeling, obesity, cartilage wear can also be the reasons. This can cause severe pain on both the inner and outer parts of the knee. Arthritis also causes swelling and pain.
Do not put too much weight on one leg
Avoid physical exertion when there is pain. Avoid lifting too much weight, sitting for a long time, or standing too long. If there is pain in the knees, wear comfortable shoes and slippers. Wear soft padded footwear if it is too long to stand. Do not put too much weight on one leg. Give equal weight on both legs.
Take spinach and vitamin C foods
Spinach contains more antioxidants. It relieves osteoarthritis and knee pain. Drink 3-4 liters of water daily. Eat things with vitamin C and D. Also sit in the sun for vitamin D. To avoid any problem in the knees, some yoga exercises can be done regularly with the advice of a specialist.
Eat less salt
Take less salt or sodium diet. Excess sodium increases swelling and also increases pressure on the knees. This causes pain in the knees. Eating too much salt also weakens bones. If there is a problem of knee pain, then decrease in things like potato, capsicum, green chillies, non-veg, fat and protein.
