New Delhi. The Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested two accomplices of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TuM) terrorist organizations helping the terrorists. Officials said on Monday that the two were arrested from Budgam district of central Kashmir. Along with this, many objectionable things have also been recovered from them. Police said that Budgam police and 53 Rashtriya Rifles have arrested two militants of terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba and TUM.

The duo have been identified as Sameer Ahmed Ittu and Ubaid Amin Mallah. Both of them are residents of Kulgam district. Many objectionable items including flags, banners and letter pads have been recovered from his possession. Police said that during preliminary investigation it was revealed that these people were involved in grenade incidents in Pulwama and Kulgam districts of South Kashmir. They were also making posters, banners and flags of terrorist organizations in many places of central and southern Kashmir on the instructions of their operators.

Police said that they were active in recruiting terrorists and people working at the grassroots level to carry out terrorist activities in Budgam. Investigation has been started against these people by registering an FIR. Police say that by taking timely action, they have stopped major terrorist incidents in the area. Let us tell you that earlier the Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist from Samba district of Jammu, who was involved in the killing of three Bharatiya Janata Party activists and a policeman in Kashmir last year.
