Ahmedabad, Feb 21 (Language) The Corona virus test report of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani came negative on Sunday and he is now infection free. The Chief Minister also voted in the local body elections in his hometown Rajkot in the evening. Chief Minister’s office gave this information. Earlier, 64-year-old Rupani was confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus on 15 February. Rupani fainted during the local body election campaign in Vadodara, which was examined the next day. Since then, the Chief Minister has been undergoing treatment at U.N. Mehta Heart Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Rupani was wearing a mask, while all the staff at the polling station were wearing PPE kits. After casting his vote, he thanked the public for wishing for a speedy recovery. “Due to our common efforts, we have achieved a recovery rate of 97.5 per cent from COVID-19,” Rupani told reporters.
