BJP Chief Ministers and Union Ministers have attacked the statement made by the Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday on the politics of North and South. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made two consecutive tweets, attacking Rahul Gandhi directly.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his tweet that Mr. Rahul ji, everyone has understood you from Kerala, Sanatan Aastha’s Tapasthali to Uttar Pradesh, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Divisive politics is your political rite. We see the whole of India in the form of mother, not in the north or the south.

At the same time, in the second tweet, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Mr. Rahul ji, revered Atal ji had said that India is not a piece of land, but a living man is alive. Please do not make a desperate attempt to cut it with the sword of regionalism to fulfill your petty politics. India was one, there is one, it will remain the same.

On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said in a tweet that Rahul Gandhi first liberated Congress from North India. Now we have moved towards the south. India is one from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. It was the Congress that divided India and Pakistan in the name of religion. Now we have gone to divide North and South. The public will not allow such efforts to succeed.

At the same time, Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also tweeted while attacking Rahul Gandhi. In his tweet, he said that I am from the south.
I am an MP from the western state. I was born, educated and worked in the North. I represented India in front of the world. India is one. Do not divide us in any region.

Earlier in the morning, Rahul Gandhi said that I was an MP from North India for the first 15 years and I got used to a different kind of politics. At the same time, coming to Kerala for me was very refreshing, because I saw that people here are interested in issues and they go into detail.
