New Delhi, 13 February (Language) The Union Health Ministry has said that there have been no deaths from COVID-19 in 17 states and union territories in the last 24 hours. Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Chandigarh, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tripura, Lakshadweep, Arunachal Pradesh and Daman & Diu and Dadar & Nagar Haveli during the last 24 hours No one died from COVID-19. New Delhi, 13 February (Language) The Union Health Ministry has said that there have been no deaths from COVID-19 in 17 states and union territories in the last 24 hours. Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Chandigarh, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Ladakh, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tripura, Lakshadweep, Arunachal Pradesh and Daman & Diu and Dadar & Nagar Haveli during the last 24 hours No one died from COVID-19. During the same period, one to five patients of COVID-19 died in 13 states and union territories. According to the ministry, 79,67,647 people have been vaccinated by the COVID-19 vaccination campaign as of 8 am on February 13 in the country. These include 5,909,136 health workers and 2,058,511 advance front personnel. There have been 1,64,781 sessions of immunization so far. The government said that the number of beneficiaries is increasing every day. Eight states account for 59.70 percent of the vaccination. More than four lakh people have been vaccinated in every state. Uttar Pradesh, which is 10.8 per cent of the total vaccination beneficiaries in the country, is from Uttar Pradesh. Currently, 1.36 lakh patients of COVID-19 are treated in the country and this figure is 1.25% of the total infected people. On Saturday, a total of 1,06,00,625 patients have been cured, with 11,395 patients free of infection. The ministry said that 81.93 percent of these patients recover from six states. In the last 24 hours, the highest number of 5,332 patients were free of infection in Kerala while 2,422 and 486 people in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, respectively, got the infection. According to the ministry, 12,143 new patients came out in the last 24 hours of which 86.01 percent are from six states. Kerala recorded the highest number of 5,397 new patients while Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu had 3,670 and 483 people respectively.
