22 February, Faridabad . Sub Divisional Officer Pankaj Setia said that child safety is our first responsibility. In such a situation, everyone has to take the issues of child safety seriously. Sub Divisional Officer Pankaj Setia addressed the occasion of the inauguration of Child Safety Week organized by District Child Welfare Council at Rahul Colony on Monday. It was started from the Government Primary School with children from Rahul Colony in which 270 children were present.

He informed that to make children living in slums in the district, a plan has been made by the District Child Welfare Council, in which information such as child helpline number, police number and emergency number were given and the children were given Bed Touch and Good Touch Is also being made aware of. Apart from this, they were also made aware on issues like cleanliness and hygiene in COVID and common condition. The main purpose of Child Safety Week is to make awareness on the security system, along with it, the children were also made aware of the need for friendly behavior and education of right and wrong behavior. Along with this, he was also given a sanitation kit which included a dettol soap, nail cutter, mask and refreshments etc. This campaign started today on Child Safety Week, till 26 February a daily awareness camp will be organized in different areas of the district. It is informed that the expenses for this child safety week have been borne by the Jat Samaj (RJI), Sector-16, Faridabad.

District Child Welfare Officer Narendra Malik said that the purpose of the program while teaching the lesson of safety, vigilance and cleanliness to the poor children, said that this program is to make the children living in slum areas of the city aware of child safety and hygiene. . He informed that the awareness campaign will be conducted for a week on behalf of District Child Welfare Council, Faridabad to teach children safety, vigilance and hygiene lessons. The campaign started with a weekly child safety camp. The school’s chief teacher Suman thanked and thanked the chief guest and everyone. The stage was conducted by Uday Chand Accountant. Lakhon Singh Lodhi, a life member of the council, Meenu Sharma Superintendent Children’s Home, Radha Lakhani, Mange Ram, Ramsaran and Bhagwan etc. were present on the occasion. The next awareness camp will be held on Tuesday for slum children in Dussehra ground.
