‘New viruses found in Maharashtra more dangerous’
Amidst discussions of new strains of Corona in Maharashtra, Delhi AIIMS Chief Dr. Randeep Guleria says that the possibility of herd immunity from new strains found in Amravati and Akola in Maharashtra is false. Talking to a channel, he said that to fight the virus, it is necessary to have an anti body in 80 percent of the population. New strains spread rapidly and are also dangerous. People who have had kovid before, can also make them sick again. In such a situation, Guleria has appealed to the people to take necessary precautions against Corona.
